Yes, I am aware I look quite like a school teacher in this dress. And I'm ok with that. The hem and sleeves are long enough and the neckline high enough that I can feel 100% comfortable and not be tugging on anything during church. And for a $6 dress and $1 belt, I feel fabulous!

I made White Chocolate Chip Cookies yesterday with the family. Mmm, they are so delish! And I'll be snacking on them all day I think! I don't like regular chocolate very much (I know I'm sort of weird) but white chocolate is my favorite! And no, I don't like chocolate cake, ice-cream, milk, etc etc. But we can still be friends, right? :)

Some people definitely have the south's weather figured out. So it's nice when they share their wisdom with the rest of us! According the HeidiLuxe a single layer shirt and skirt are a must for the heat. And today I totally agree! Works like a charm.

And yes my hair is wet and wild. We have plans for hitting up the pool later today so it gets to do it's own thing until then. And by "the" pool I totally mean the little plastic blue one in my backyard.

Just own it. Sometimes comfort is way more important that fashion rules. The heat isn't letting up and I feel like I'm going to melt the moment I step foot outside.

So I may be wearing sweats shorts instead of leggings but they are soft and loose and today that is what it's all about!
