I'm getting that nesting feeling! I love getting everything out for baby boy and looking at all the cute little clothes! And I keep getting nervous that I'm going to get up from the couch and my water is going to break! Even though that has never happened before. (I was induced with both my others). I'm getting so excited to see this little guy! :)
I just returned from a cross country trip with the family. We drove 32 hours (plus stops!) across the country to visit our extended family in the west. Boy did my feel swell up; not cute! But now that we are back, I am just trying to survive the heat. And find clothes that fit. Pretty soon I think I'm going to have to start wearing hubby's t-shirts to fit over this bump! This baby is a big guy and my hips and knees are not pleased. But hopefully the next 10 weeks or so will go by quickly and I won't get too much bigger! If I'm lucky :)
Apparently it's true what they say: your body "remembers"
My stomach muscles are no match for a growing baby and my bump is growing out quite early. Yes, even my belly button is popped out! Let's just hope this rate of growth doesn't continue the whole pregnancy or I'm going to look like I'm smuggling a very large watermelon under my shirt by October!
Lately I've been a little busy growing a little baby and having very bad morning (all day) sickness. But I'm already showing baby bump, so here it is. It looks even bigger when I'm slouching, but I tried to stand up straight for the picture :)
I've spent the past week in a haze of sorts. I had a nasty cold, and let me tell you what- not being able to breathe out of your nose is one of my least favorite things ever. Well, hacking up a lung wasn't so great either. I'm not quite myself yet, but on the mend. Oddly enough I got sick of lounging in my pj's and was dying to get dressed and looking myself again (greasy hair doesn't suit me). Here's to more hand washing and trying to avoid getting sick again in the near future!
Happy New Year!! The holidays have come and gone in a whirlwind. And I loved it all. The food, the family, the parties, the traditions! And I'm so excited for the new year. New opportunities, new hopes and dreams, and new memories to be made. Let us focus more on what we can do for others than what they can do for us.
